This is our barn find Quattro. We would like to thank those people that store things out of the weather, to give a second chance to cars like this one.
The car was a little rough when it was picked up.
As of today in 2023/2024, the car is in almost running condition. There have been many things addressed. When the Audi was obtained, the timing was 180 Degrees out and smacked some valves out of it.
Engine was removed along with all of the exterior components on the front end to aid room. Cylinder head was sent off to machine shop for wellness check and Replace valves and service completely. Bottom end of this engine looked great along with all visible factory markings to still be seen.
Complete timing kit and water pump kit and parts installed along with a new Oil Pump + Gaskets / Seals.
Complete fuel system components replaced as necessary. Fuel Accumulator, Fuel Pump, Rotten Lines, Hard lines cleaned, CIS Fuel Injection Serviced + Mass Air Meter / Fuel Distributor serviced and dialed From CIS Injection Specialists. Also changed Filters and even removed the fuel tank to have cleaned. A new float was added to the cleaned up original Sender, which was re-installed back into Tank.
The Audi ended up needing a serious wiring repair, with a majority of the engine harness needing to be removed all the way to the fuse block, and then repaired, and put back into the car. As of right now the car will start and run for a moment. The second chamber in the fuel distributor needs to pressurize right to fuel the injectors. Then we will have an Audi that can run on its own power.
